Chelsea midfielder Ramires may face retrospective action from the Football Association after his slap on Sebastian Larsson went unpunished.
Though the incident took place right under Mike Dean's nose, it appears as if the referee was looking elsewhere and didn't see it.
As Chelsea's frustrations boiled up in the defeat to Sunderland, the Brazilian midfielder reacted to off the ball contact by Larsson, turning and slapping the Swede in the face.

Unpunished: Mike Dean was just a few feet away but his attention appeared to be elsewhere
Larsson went down, and though Riley was only a couple of feet away his attention was elsewhere. Larsson argued with Dean but it fell on deaf ears.
Chelsea, drawing 1-1 at the time, went on to lose 2-1 after Liverpool loanee Fabio Borini coolly converted a penalty 10 minutes from the end. The defeat means that Jose Mourinho lost his 77 match unbeaten record at Premier League.
Of course if Dean did see the slap and decided not to punish Ramires, no further action can be taken by the FA.
