Top seed Agnieszka Radwanska will meet reigning champion Maria Sharapova in the last eight of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart after both secured straight sets victories in the second round.
Radwanska collected a comfortable 6-3 6-2 win over Roberta Vinci, while Sharapova - seeded sixth despite victory here in 2012 and 2013 - despatched fellow Russian Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-4 6-4.
For Sharapova it was a much less gruelling affair than her three-hour marathon victory over Lucie Safarova in her previous outing, but she must now add the scalp of Radwanska to stay in the world top 10.
