A vehicle suspected to be carrying explosives has been abandoned near the Don Bosco Secondary School in Pangani area, Nairobi.
Police used a sniffer dog to check the vehicle that was found in the area Thursday morning.
Bomb experts arrived at the scene and confirmed that there were explosives in the vehicle.
Interior Ministry confirmed in a post on Twitter that explosive materials were found in the car.
"The bomb disposal unit will get rid of the e/material, as @PoliceKE investigate ownership of the vehicle and who drove it last," another post read.
