Mauro Icardi scored twice to help Inter Milan beat 10-man Sampdoria 4-0 in Serie A on Sunday and boost the club's hopes of qualifying for the Europa League.
The 21-year-old Argentine was booed throughout the game because he is now living with the ex-wife of former teammate Maxi Lopez - and the Sampdoria forward refused to shake Icardi's hand before kickoff.
However, the jeers seemed to inspire Icardi who opened the scoring in the 13th minute - cupping a hand to his ear and urging the fans on.

The love triangle between the two players and Argentinian WAG Wanda Nara was exposed in November 2013 when it was revealed that Icardi had made moves on his former friend's wife as their marriage fell apart.
The Inter Milan forward took to Twitter to declare: 'I love you [Wanda Nara], it will never be easy to say what I feel, because I discovered that those two words ('I love you' = 'te amo' in Spanish) carry with them one feeling without limits!'
The tweet coincided with an interview given by Nara released by Revista People, in which the model revealed: 'It’s been three months since my husband had sex. Maxi has neglected me.
Although I’ve been living in luxury, I am also living with hidden pain.
'I think the time has passed for me to save my family. I will not fight for the money, because he knows me.'

The pair have since become renowned for posting almost daily declarations of their love over social media as well as numerous 'selfie' pictures.
On Wednesday, Nara posted a semi-naked picture of herself causing a storm on Twitter after it was labelled an 'after sex selfie' by the Italian press.
But, it is pictures of a different kind that have angered her husband after lopez hit out this week at the couple for putting up Twitter images featuring the two children he fathered with Nara.
'I can understand that, being a public figure, he publishes photos. But I`m not comfortable with my kids being in those photos," Lopez said in comments to Sky Sport.
He added: 'The kids are my strength... and they know I will do everything to protect them because they mean everything to me.'

Meanwhile, Walter Samuel and Rodrigo Palacio also scored for Inter while Lopez had a penalty saved.
Sampdoria played most of the match with 10 men after Eder was shown a second yellow card for his part in a brawl.
Inter remained fifth but will be boosted by Parma's 1-1 draw at Bologna and Lazio's 4-2 defeat at Napoli.
Gonazalo Higuain scored a hat trick for Napoli, ending his five-game goal drought.
Hellas Verona's slim European hopes diminished as it lost 5-3 at home to Fiorentina.
