Chelsea trio Jose Mourinho, Rui Faria and Ramires have all been charged by the FA for their actions in the 2-1 defeat by Sunderland at the weekend.
Faria was sent to the stands after a furious outburst towards referee Mike Dean.
Dean awarded a penalty to the Black Cats after Cesar Azpilicueta fouled Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore in the Chelsea penalty area which Faria took issue with.

Slap: Chelsea midfielder Ramires could face disciplinary action after slapping Sebastian Larsson in the face
Mourinho attempted to hold Faria back as the Portuguese coach shouted and jumped towards the match official.
An FA statement read: 'Rui Faria has been charged with two counts of misconduct.
'It
is alleged that in the 83rd minute of the fixture, Faria used abusive
and/or insulting words towards the Fourth Official. It also alleged that
Faria’s behaviour following the match referee’s request that he leave
the technical area amounted to improper conduct.'
'The
FA has designated this as a non-standard case due to the aggressive
and/or threatening and/or serious nature of the reported behaviour.'
Ramires, meanwhile, appeared to slap Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson while Dean was looking away.
The
FA statement went on: 'Chelsea midfielder Ramires has been charged for
violent conduct following an off-the-ball incident that was not seen by
the match officials but caught on video.
'Ramires was involved in an incident with Sunderland’s Sebastian Larsson in the 42nd minute of the fixture.'

Mourinho has been charged for his sarcastic comments about referee Dean and referees' chief Mike Riley after the game.
‘Just to say I will not wait for your questions,’ said Mourinho. ‘I’m so sorry about it. But in three or four points I can say everything I can say, so I won’t waste time with the questions you will ask me.
‘The first is to congratulate my players. They did everything they could, playing from the first minute to the last seconds, and deserved that. Sometimes we praise the players when we win. I think it’s fair to praise my players after the defeat.
‘Secondly, congratulations to Sunderland. It doesn’t matter how, why or in which way they won, they won. They won three fantastic points. I think it’s also fair to congratulate them.
‘Third point, I want to congratulate again Mike Dean. I think his performance was unbelievable and I think when referees have unbelievable performances, I think it’s fair that as managers we give them praise. So, fantastic performance. He came here with one objective. To make a fantastic performance. And he did that.

‘And fourth, congratulations also to Mike Riley, the referees’ boss. What they are doing through the whole season is fantastic, especially in the last couple of months, and in teams involved in the title race. Absolutely fantastic.’
The
FA said of Mourinho: 'Mourinho has been charged with misconduct in
respect of post-match comments he made following the fixture.
'It
is alleged that Mourinho’s comments constitute improper conduct, in
that they call into question the integrity of the referee appointed to
the above fixture and/or the integrity of Mr Mike Riley, General Manager
of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited, and/or the comments
bring the game into disrepute.'
The Blues suffered a serious blow to their Premier League title hopes as Fabio Borini scored the resulting penalty to give Sunderland a vital three points and end Mourinho's run of 77 games unbeaten at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool could now stretch their lead at the top of the table to five points with a win against Norwich on Sunday.
Mourinho and Faria have until 6pm on April 28 to respond, while Ramires must respond by 4pm on April 24.
It's all over: Fabio Borini scored from the spot to hand Sunderland a vital win
