Wigan manager Uwe Rosler has still to taste defeat at home as his promotion-chasing side held the champions-elect.
Wigan looked to have little hope of a return to the Premier League when the German took charge in December.
But they have lost just twice under his leadership and risen to fifth place in the Sky Bet Championship.

Wigan looked set for another impressive victory until Leicester equalised in the 86th minute when midfielder Dean Hammond headed his first goal for the club from Riyad Mahrez’s free-kick.
Rosler made five changes from the side that looked tired and off the pace in the 1-1 draw at Bolton while Nigel Pearson was without striker Jamie Vardy, who limped out of the 2-0 victory at Burnley which all but guaranteed Leicester promotion.
Wigan’s Spanish midfielder Jordi Gomez, who had his injury-time penalty saved at Bolton, clipped an early shot from the edge of the box which drifted just over.
And Wigan were denied again just two minutes later when Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel tipped over Nicky Maynard’s header.
Wigan finally scored the goal they deserved in the 37th minute when Hammond fouled Gomez, who floated the free-kick into the box from 30 yards for defender Ivan Ramis to head home.

The lead lasted four minutes. Wigan failed to clear, allowing midfielder Andy King to despatch an unstoppable low shot across Ali Al-Habsi.
Gomez created Wigan’s second goal, his corner from the left floated over Leicester’s back line for defender Rob Kiernan to head in.
lReferee Eddie Ilderton reversed a a penalty and red card for Sheffield United’s Kieron Freeman in last night’s goalless draw with Brentford.
After a delay of five minutes, Ilderton was finally persuaded to consult assistant referee Mark Dwyer and he scrubbed the penalty and the card
